NETWORK SYSTEMS:

Microsoft Windows Server Servers have build in redundancies such as dual CPU, dual power supply, dual NIC cards, RAID 1. The windows server has been configured to auto update with latest hot fixes, security patches, service packs from Microsoft. Servers are all put on UPS with 3.5 hours backup.

NETWORK:

Nortel Switch based 100 mbps intelligent network, with additional switches, pre configured for redundancy. All switches are installed in a lockable rack for security. All ports from outside to internal networks have been blocked. Printer access is only provided at management level and kept in secure location.

ENTERPRISE FIREWALL:

SonicWALL-based network. It allows network to connect to hospital or client server with secure VPN and protected by SonicWALL TZ 170 firewalls. The entire network is protected by SonicWALL's Unified Threat Management, including Gateway Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering, to stop viruses, hackers and other threats. Servers are behind 2 levels of firewall to protect it from external and internal attacks. Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) server as an enterprise firewall. User based access rights to servers. Not all folders can be accessed by all staff members.

BUILDING:

The building in which Contech BPO has its production floor has been certified as zone 4 earthquake resistant with all safety features like firm alarm etc. ContechBPO is divided into three well-defined zones (front office & Admin, Production, and Network) with protected and non-protected areas.

24HRS OF PHYSICAL SECURITY:

All staff members have been issued ID cards for security staff to identify staff members and their access rights. They are physically frisked at the entry and exit of the production area. No mobile, PDAs, USB thumb drives, Camera’s etc are permitted within the operational areas.
 

USERS:

Computers have scheduled lock timings for computer screens. Public areas do not have computers to access internal network. All users have centrally managed antivirus software for updates of virus definitions. Policy based availability of access to internet. Each computer has unique number to keep track of performance issues/complaints.
